General Terms and Conditions of Sale, Delivery and Payment for Custom Riding Boots

Article 1 - General definitions

In these Terms and Conditions the following terms shall have the following meanings:

Client: A natural person or legal entity who commissions custom riding boots to perform work/services.

Article 2 - The Agreement.

1. The agreement is concluded after the measurement form has been signed and the customer has paid the deposit due.

2. Buying custom made riding boots

After measuring, riding boots custom will create an order form. After 50% of the amount due has been paid (cash or by pin payment) and the order form has been signed by the customer, the agreement has been concluded.

3. Purchase of all other items outside the webshop.

The agreement is concluded once the customer has ordered the items and paid a 50% deposit.

Article 3 - Reflection period

The legal terms apply to all our services and ordered products, except for custom-made products and boots.

In fact, this means that you have 14 days to consider all products ordered from the webshop. This consideration period starts after you have received the products.

Should you wish to cancel the purchase, you can do so within 14 days of receipt of the delivered goods on our webshop. You will then receive instructions on how to return the products. Of course, the products may not be used and must be returned in the original packaging.

As soon as the products are received by Rijlaarzen op maat in unused and impeccable condition, the amount paid by the customer will be refunded to his or her account immediately. Any shipping costs paid will also be covered by rijlaarzen op maat.

The cooling-off period never applies to custom-made products. So not to our custom-made boots either! You can therefore not use the right of withdrawal.

Article 4 - Compliance periods

The terms of fulfillment are only given approximately and therefore do not apply as fatal terms. Failure due to exceeding the terms of fulfillment will never give the client the right to compensation or to dissolve the purchase agreement.

Article 5 - Execution of the work

Custom-made riding boots will carry out the assignment properly and carefully, will represent the interests of the client to the best of its knowledge and ability and will perform its work to the best of its knowledge and ability, taking into account the requirements set and to be set by law.

Article 6 - Warranty Boots and Jodhpurs

With a used product such as riding boots and jodhpurs it is always difficult to determine how long they should last and how the colour fastness is. This of course depends on how the boots and to what extent they are used and cared for. In any case, you have a 60-day guarantee on colour differences, tears and stitching. Despite this limited guarantee, we would like to emphasise that custom-made riding boots will always do everything in its power to solve problems with your boots and/or jodhpurs. If the size is unexpectedly incorrect, custom-made riding boots will correct this and, if necessary, a new pair of riding boots with the correct sizes will be ordered and delivered. Please note that the fit guarantee for your riding boots is 30 days after we have received the boots from the workshop. The fit guarantee expires after delivery of the riding boots. When sending your riding boots, the term of the fit guarantee is 7 days after receipt of the riding boots. Of course, this does not apply to boots measured by the customer themselves.

Article 7 - Applicable law

All offers and/or quotations made by Rijlaarzen op maat, regardless of their name, as well as all agreements concluded with Rijlaarzen op maat are exclusively governed by Dutch law.

Article 8 - Amendment, explanation and location

The most recently filed version or the version applicable at the time the agreement was concluded always applies.

Article 9 - Cancelling appointments in the agenda

Cancellation of appointments must be made no later than 36 hours before the agreed time.

The following cancellation conditions apply to cancellation of appointments:

– in case of cancellation up to 36 hours before the start, the client will not be charged any costs

– in case of cancellation within 24 hours before the start of a fitting session, the customer owes 100% of the amount for the appointment.
